Liquid Diamonds Explained - NV-Licensed Concentrate Guide
"Liquid diamonds" is industry shorthand for a concentrate that re-introduces THCA crystal back into a high-terpene sauce after extraction - the result is a viscous, glittery oil that delivers terpene flavor and a high cannabinoid load in the same draw. At a Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (NV CCB) licensed dispensary like Greenleaf Wellness, every liquid diamonds cart, dab, or jar is made from licensed-cultivator flower, processed in an NV-licensed extraction lab, and tested by an ISO 17025 accredited lab. 21+ only.

TL;DR
Liquid diamonds = THCA crystals + cannabis-derived terpenes (CDTs) re-suspended into a single concentrate. Typical potency: 80-95% Total THC by mass. Format: 510-thread cart, disposable, or dabbable jar. NV-CCB-licensed and lab-tested only - no smoke-shop equivalent exists in Nevada. Best for experienced consumers who want full terpene flavor at high potency.
What "liquid diamonds" actually is
The product begins as cured cannabis flower. The flower is extracted using either butane (BHO), propane (PHO), or ethanol - under NV CCB rules, only licensed extractors with explosion-proof closed-loop systems can run hydrocarbon extractions. The crude oil is purged of solvents under vacuum heat, then placed in a sealed jar where the cannabinoids slowly nucleate into THCA crystals while the terpenes pool as a "sauce" around them. This natural separation is called diamond mining.
To make liquid diamonds, the producer either separates and recombines the diamonds and sauce, or controls the crystallization so the diamonds dissolve back into the terpene fraction at a target ratio. The final product is a single homogeneous oil that carries:
When heated in a vape coil or dab nail, the THCA decarboxylates to Δ9-THC at the well-known 0.877 mass conversion ratio (Total THC = Δ9-THC + THCA × 0.877). For the chemistry see THCA vs THC Nevada explained and NV CCB Total THC standard.
- Cannabinoid mass (mostly THCA, decarboxylating to Δ9-THC on heating)
- Cannabis-derived terpenes (myrcene, limonene, β-caryophyllene, linalool, pinene, terpinolene, and minor terpenes specific to the source strain)
- Sometimes minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBC, THCV, depending on cultivar)
Why liquid diamonds is a NV-licensed-dispensary-only product
Total THC
A liquid diamonds product is 80-95% Total THC by mass. There is no plausible "hemp" framing. Even if a producer claimed the THCA was hemp-derived, the Nevada Total THC math (Δ9-THC + THCA × 0.877) puts the result far above any threshold for unlicensed sale. The federal 2018 Farm Bill 0.3% Δ9-THC dry-weight loophole that smoke-shop hemp relied on does not apply to a concentrate this potent.
Manufacturing licensing
Hydrocarbon and CO₂ extraction at this scale and purity requires NV-licensed extraction equipment, an NV-licensed extraction operator, NV-licensed packaging, METRC tagging on every gram, and NV-CCB-approved ISO 17025 lab testing. None of this is available outside the licensed retail chain.

How to use liquid diamonds responsibly
Liquid diamonds is a high-potency product. A 0.5 g cart at 90% Total THC delivers 450 mg of Total THC - that is 45 ten-mg edible doses per cart, in a format that hits in 15-90 seconds and peaks within 5 minutes. New consumers should start with one short inhalation, wait two full minutes, and reassess. Tolerance to inhaled cannabis is real but does not develop on a single session.
We do not make medical claims about liquid diamonds. If you are using cannabis to address a medical condition, consult a Nevada-licensed healthcare provider; see how to get a NV medical card for the medical-cannabis pathway.
What Greenleaf liquid diamonds is NOT
It is not "THCA diamonds" sold at a hemp shop - those products often have unverifiable supply chains and no NV-CCB-mandated COA panels. For the comparison see THCA diamonds vs live resin diamonds. It is not a Δ8 or HHC product. It is not a "spice" or synthetic cannabinoid. It is a NV-licensed cannabis concentrate.
