Website accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
We design and maintain greenleafwellness.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA. Specific commitments:
We test accessibility on every site release with both automated tools (axe DevTools, Lighthouse a11y) and manual screen-reader testing.
- Perceivable. Color contrast ratios meet 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. Every image has alt text. Decorative images use empty alt. Videos (where present) have captions and transcripts. Form fields have visible labels.
- Operable. Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard. Focus indicators are visible (we do not suppress them). The age-verification gate works without a mouse. Tap targets meet 44 by 44 px minimum. We do not use animations that flash more than three times per second.
- Understandable. Page language is set in HTML. Form errors are announced clearly with text, not color alone. Navigation is consistent across pages. Compliance disclaimers use plain English plus the relevant statutory citation when needed.
- solid. The site is built on semantic HTML. ARIA is used only where native HTML cannot express the relationship. We test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS) on each release.
Store accessibility (ADA)
Our store at 1730 Glendale Avenue meets ADA standards:
- Parking. Accessible spaces with a 96-inch access aisle nearest the front door, on a level surface with no curb cut required.
- Entrance. Door clear width is 36 inches. Power-assist door operator is available.
- Aisles. Retail-floor aisles are at least 36 inches wide; primary path-of-travel aisle is 48 inches.
- Counters. A lowered counter section at 34 inches accommodates wheelchair users.
- Restroom. Accessible single-occupancy restroom with grab bars and 60-inch turning radius.
- Service animals. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. Per NV Cannabis Compliance Board rule, emotional-support animals (ESAs) and pets do not enter the retail floor.
Communication accommodations
Hearing. Pen-and-paper communication available at the counter on request.
Vision. Our budtenders read product labels, COA results, and price tags aloud on request.
General. Call ahead at (775) 470-5255 to request any accommodation we have not listed; we will do our best.
Known limitations
Third-party menu embed. Our online menu is provided by a licensed e-commerce partner whose accessibility is subject to their roadmap. We test it monthly and forward issues to the vendor. If the menu is unusable for you, call (775) 470-5255 and a budtender places the order on your behalf.
PDF Certificates of Analysis. Lab COAs are PDF documents from third-party labs. Some are scanned (image-only). On request we provide a typed text version of the data points.
