The oil - live resin HTE
HTE stands for high terpene extract, the aromatic fraction that separates out of a fresh-frozen cannabis extract alongside the crystalline THCA. An HTE cartridge is built to carry more of that fraction than a distillate cart does, so the oil reads as strain-specific rather than generic. Optimum's own framing is strain-specific profiles, high potency, and the entourage effect, meaning the argument that a fuller spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes behaves differently from isolated THC. In practice, an HTE cart is the middle ground between a cheap distillate cart and a full solventless rosin cart: closer to the plant than distillate, easier on the wallet than rosin.
What Optimum Extracts is known for
Time in the category. Making oil since 2013, from the medical market into adult-use.
Concentrate depth. The catalogue is concentrate-led rather than a broad brand with a token vape line.
HTE cartridges and disposables. Strain-specific oil in both a 510-thread cart and a self-contained disposable.
A stated value position. The company frames its mission as high quality at a competitive price, which is what makes the Sunday deal land.
Regional focus. Nevada and Washington rather than a national multi-state footprint.
Where Optimum sits at Greenleaf
Sunday is the day this brand matters. Optimum live resin and LD 1g disposables are 50% off every Sunday in November, alongside half-price Cake disposables, which lands on Double-Points Sunday, the one day of the week every order earns double loyalty points. Deals themselves are never stackable with each other, but you still earn loyalty points on daily-deal purchases, so a Sunday disposable run is the most efficient trip on the board.
Common questions about Optimum Extracts
What does HTE mean? High terpene extract. It is the terpene-rich fraction that separates out of a fresh-frozen cannabis extract, and an HTE cartridge is formulated to carry more of it than a standard distillate cart. The practical difference is that the oil tastes like the cultivar it came from rather than tasting like a neutral base.
How long has Optimum Extracts been operating? Since 2013, starting out supplying the medical community before moving into the recreational market. The brand currently lists availability across Nevada and Washington.
Is an HTE cart the same as live rosin? No. Live rosin is solventless, pressed from ice-water hash, and sits at the top of the price ladder. An HTE cart is a solvent-based extract that keeps a high terpene fraction. It is closer to the plant than distillate and less expensive than rosin.
When is Optimum Extracts on sale at Greenleaf? Optimum live resin and LD 1g disposables are 50% off every Sunday in November 2026, five dates this month, and Optimum 2g disposables and carts are BOGO every Wednesday, four dates this month. Sunday is also Double-Points Sunday, so loyalty points earn at double rate on the same order.
