Pyramid Lake is on the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Reservation - sovereign tribal land with its own legal jurisdiction. Cannabis brought onto the reservation is subject to tribal law, not Nevada state law. The tribe has not licensed recreational cannabis sales (verify current status with the tribe's tribal council if uncertain). Possession on the reservation may have different legal consequences than off-reservation Nevada.
