Crystal Bay sits directly on the NV-CA state line. Cannabis cannot be transported across the state line under federal law (21 U.S.C. § 812) - even though both Nevada and California have legalized recreational cannabis. The Tahoe Biltmore Lodge & Casino (closed 2020 but property remains) and Cal Neva Resort areas are private hotel/casino property - cannabis is prohibited on premises. Lake Tahoe shoreline at Crystal Bay is partly USFS (federal Forest Service) - federal-land sections prohibit cannabis. NV-side residential subdivisions in Incline Village often have HOA covenants - verify your CC&R.
