Lineage and history
Tangie's parents are California Orange (a 1980s California sativa heirloom) crossed with Skunk #1 (the Sam-the-Skunkman Dutch lineage). The strain was bred by DNA Genetics' Crockett Family branch in Amsterdam around 2010 and won the 2012 and 2014 High Times Cannabis Cup in the Sativa category. The flower's signature is a loud-tangerine orange-zest aroma that is unmistakable and distinguishes Tangie from generic citrus sativas.
