Company history
Wana Brands was founded in 2010 in Boulder, Colorado, making it one of the oldest continuously operating cannabis edibles brands in the U.S. Wana built early reputation through real-fruit gummies and consistent dose accuracy at a time when many competitors were still selling visually inconsistent baked goods. The brand expanded across the legal-state map via licensed manufacturing partnerships rather than direct production - meaning each state's Wana product is produced under that state's license using Wana's recipes and brand IP. Canopy Growth acquired the rights to Wana in 2021.
What Wana is known for
Wana Quick. Wana's fast-onset gummy line uses nano-emulsion to compress onset from 30–90 minutes down to 15 minutes. Available in indica, sativa, and hybrid effect categories.
Classic gummies. Wana's classic line is a slow-onset gummy with a 30–90 minute conventional edible curve - preferred by some consumers for the longer, mellow effect plateau.
