TL;DR
Quick answers: dispensaries replace smoke shops for flower / vape / edible / concentrate / pre-roll. METRC-tracked, eight-panel lab-tested, NV-CCB-licensed, child-resistant packaging. Cash or debit only (federal Schedule I banking). Valid government photo ID required for entry. Out-of-state IDs accepted, expired IDs not. Cannot transport across state lines (21 U.S.C. § 812). Greenleaf is open 8 AM to 10 PM every day.
Eligibility and ID
Q: Do I have to be a Nevada resident to buy? A: No. Adult-use cannabis in Nevada is open to any 21+ adult with a valid government-issued photo ID. Out-of-state IDs are accepted; expired IDs are not. Tribal IDs are accepted as government-issued.
Q: How much can I buy in one visit? A: NRS 678D.310 limits a single adult-use transaction to 2.5 ounces (about 71 g) of usable cannabis flower or 0.25 ounce (1/4 oz, about 7 g) of concentrate. The limit is per transaction; Nevada does not operate a statewide individual purchase tracker.
Q: Can I bring my purchase home to California / Oregon / Idaho / Utah / Arizona? A: No. Cannabis cannot be transported across state lines (21 U.S.C. § 812 Schedule I). Even if both states have legal cannabis, transport is a federal violation. Use the product in Nevada and properly dispose of any unused product before leaving.
Q: Can I use my Nevada medical card here? A: Yes. Nevada honors valid medical cards from Nevada and reciprocity states. Medical patients may have additional purchase allowances and tax differences; ask at the counter for the current medical-vs-adult-use posture.

Smoke shop transition questions
Q: I used to buy "THCA flower" at a smoke shop. Is the same flower available here? A: Yes - the same plant material and the same potency range, plus full NV CCB lab testing, METRC tracking, child-resistant packaging, and dispensary-only retail. The Total THC math (Δ9-THC + THCA × 0.877) determines compliance. See is THCA legal in Nevada and real THC vs THCA explained.
Q: What about Δ8 / HHC / THCO carts? A: After Nevada SB 356 (2025) enforcement, those products are no longer lawful for sale in Nevada smoke shops. Licensed Δ9-THC carts and live-resin carts at Greenleaf are the compliant alternative. See hemp vape vs cannabis vape difference.
Q: Why is the licensed product more expensive than the hemp version was? A: Three reasons: lab testing battery (eight panels under ISO 17025), regulatory compliance (METRC, NV CCB licensing, child-resistant packaging), and tax (state, county, and city). The structural cost is real; the value is in the testing and the legal posture. See affordable ounces Sparks.

Product questions
Q: What is "Total THC"? A: Total THC = Δ9-THC + (THCA × 0.877). It is the post-decarboxylation potency - what you actually get when you light or vape the flower. The 0.877 ratio comes from the molecular weight conversion of THCA (358.47 g/mol) to Δ9-THC (314.46 g/mol) when CO₂ leaves as gas during decarboxylation. See NV CCB Total THC standard.
Q: What is the strongest product in the store? A: By format, THCA crystalline at 95-99% Δ9-THC after decarb, then vape carts at 80-95%, infused pre-rolls at 35-50%, top-shelf flower at 26-32%. Stronger is not always better; the right potency depends on tolerance and intent. See strongest Δ9 in Sparks.
Q: What is live resin / liquid diamonds? A: Live resin is a concentrate made from fresh-frozen flower (frozen within 24-48 hours of harvest) preserving terpene content. Liquid diamonds are pure THCA crystals suspended in a high-terpene sauce. See liquid diamonds explained and THCA diamonds vs live resin diamonds.
Q: Can I buy CBD-only product at a dispensary? A: High-CBD flower with low Δ9 content may be available; ask at the counter for current stock. CBD-dominant products may also be available at non-cannabis retailers under the federal hemp framework, but dispensary products are NV-CCB-licensed and lab-tested.
Logistics
Q: What hours are you open? A: Open daily 8 AM – 10 PM (last sale 9:55 PM). See dispensary open now Sparks for the current schedule.
